The set design creates the style and look of a film through the costume, sets, props and location choices, enabling the audience to dive into an alternate reality.
The aim of the set design is to keep the audience visually bound. This can be done in a variety of ways, such as the surroundings complementing or contrasting with a character.
In our music video we are also including a pillow fort for a cute date, so we had to make an entire fort from scratch. Here are some pictures of the area before.
The area was a foldabe table corner in my room near my wardrobe. We thought the gap was perfect to a build a fort. We collected a lot of blankets and lights and put them all together to create this fort which we believe will look good in our final video.
We used a lot of lights to create this. We used the materials we already had to create this fort which had a warm glow to it.
We were aiming for something like the image below this and i think we came close to it.
