Swara took the responsibility to make the website as I did the digipak. So she made a website using Wix which allowed her to make a website that mirror the function of Charli’s.
The thing that was of utmost importance was to ensure that the website gave the same feel and vibe that the artist does. So she began with creating a sleek, bold logo for her, and wrote down a caption that I felt was appropriate to draw the fans in.
Post that, she also created a banner for the latest song of the artist and then also provided links to the fan’s instagram and twitter accounts and also a subscription form.
The website allowed us to select the sections and organize them the way that a real website would showcase, and hence helped develop our skills of what goes into the making of an artist’s website.
Next, we also provided links to her most latest music videos and also lined up her upcoming shows and tours and the ticket links for the same.
She then made another section for the artist’s merchandize, that consisted of posters, hoodies and tshirts. The last thing to do was create a domain name and then finally publish the website.
